I have been having trouble getting some materials i need here in aust , the only foam place near me has closed down! Yay
So i'm having to experiment atm to see what else i can use....
Any ideas?

Welcome Frogulon! As Skand mentions, I'm also Aussie: the best places for foam are Clark Rubber (check their offcuts section first, that's 10 times cheaper than buying a new piece of foam), and for sheet foam I go to Spotlight and buy their $1 A3 foam (often found near their polystyrene ball section). (Spotlight also sell foam for pillows, but it's quite expensive and you're better off going to Clark Rubber and scavaging their offcuts) ... Love the puppets, very kooky and fun!
