I'm sorry Billy, I missed your post. Yes, it is a cookie monster style. I already made the head. I hope it will be big enough. I am not sure just how to do the body. Thanks to Magenta, I got the blinking eyes to sorta work. Here are the latest picks as I promised. The feathers are not set in place yet, I need to do the eyebrows. And somewhere on here someone posted templates for pupils. I think I will mix it up with one blue eye and one brown eye. Oh, and I still need the Goatee.Photo_080609_012Photo_080609_013

Thank you very much Billy. That is exactly what I was looking for. Your a God send. An update on the puppet. I just couldn't go to bed last night without putting pupils in the puppets eyes. Amazing how it changed it's appearance. I went with the printable pupils I found on the forum and sized them to fit. I also am have problems now with deciding if I want to put a nose on him or leave it be. If I do put a nose on him, I'm going to cover half a plastic Easter egg with the same blue fabric as the eyes. Maybe I before I glue the nose on I will do a poll on here to see what people think.

Why don't you put a removable nose on him by using a magnet inside the nose and a piece of metal in the face of the puppet. I personally have never used this method but it is worth a try. I was going to recommend Velcro but that would be visible when the nose is not in use.

Interesting thought. But I think I will place it temporarily on take a pic, take it off and take a pic, and see what you all think.

Billy, is there somewhere I can get a free pattern for the foam body of Kermit like the one used in the design you showed me (cookie monster style)?

Good point Jomama. I guess I didn't think about the white being to much. Maybe I can town down with more grey then white. Although, the stage for the filming will be a mock attic with wood towns. But if I green screen the background, do you think the white will be a problem? Anyway, thanks for the tip on the contact cement. I will stop by one of those places and see if I can get some.

I would suggest you do some test filming with the greenscreen and the fabric you want to use. I personally don't care to use white because you tend to get less detail than with another color. It's like black and white photography, you want to have contrast but still see details in both extremes of black and white.

Photo_080809_001Photo_080809_002OK, I added some more material and the pupils. This puppet is starting to get some personality to it. Does anyone have any suggestions?
