My name is S....that's right, everybody just calls me S. 

I am a balloon artist, which means that when I make a puppet, it is rubber and it does not last longer than a week or two.    Still, I'm looking at some new projects with regular puppets to enhance me balloon artistry.  That is why I am here.  I hope I can learn from all of you.

Hi S!  I love balloon art.  My 11 year old is so into it.  I am bad at it, but she keeps trying. I think she'll be good one day. Either that or I'll go deaf from the squeaking noises.  Almost as bad as nails on a chalkboard.

You will find lots to see and do here.  There are lots of very talented people willing to answer all sorts of questions. You are definitely in the right place.

Welcome first of all! Second - I've never heard of balloon art being a form of puppetry, and love the concept. It's so very true!

I LOVE this art even though it scares the poopy out of me.  I tried my hand at twisting once and I was making the most awful cringing faces that my husband begged me to stop.  He said I would frighten the children...LOL.  I do love seeing a good performance piece with the twisting art....not just someone making a balloon animal and handing it over.  I would love to see you perform.  I do think your art will fit right in with puppetry and vice versa.
