I think your aims are much like those of the rest of us here!  Once you realize what puppetry is capable of doing it is only natural to want to teach others.  I just finished teaching 25 teachers a class I call "Why You SHOULD Use Puppetry in Your Classroom".  It was fun and SO rewarding to see then catch the vision for how valuable of a resource puppetry is!  I like Mr. Harmon by the way!  Keep those pictures coming!

Hi Rosie, Welcome, Welcome, Welcome!!! For a first puppet you did a fantastic job!!! My first one doesnt look as good as yours LOL but it was still really fun to create.

If you have questions, dont hesitate to ask them. Somebody is bound to have the answer or point you to the right direction in finding it.

Puppet hug,
SHould

I agree with everyone else, your doing and excellent job on your first puppet. I am learning that the skin isn't the most easy part, but very rewarding when done. For someone with doll making background, this should be easier. I started with paper crafts (book making, 3d paper models, etc.) which has nothing to do with puppets, except using your hands. Good luck and don't give up.

Chris: Yes, fleece is virtually unheard of here due to the climate. Your stuffed animal ventures sounds interesting.

Miguel: Thanks alot, you're very kind!

LJ: Yes, there are so many possibilities with puppetry. Thanks, and yes I will keep posting pictures.

SHould: Thanks and I will keep asking, there's a lot I still have to find out. This is a great place for learning.

Archangel: Yes, I'm hoping that my cloth doll experience will help me out, I'll post some pictures when I am finished the second head I'm making... with skin. (see other thread)

Thanks again everyone for your encouragement.
