What have you used for the hair on Camille? It looks very nice.

Hi Shawn, thanks, as soon as I'm done I'll post a picture.

Thanks Miguel

Jomama, it's just the inexpensive synthetic hair you can buy for braiding/extensions, it cost me just 2.50usd and I still have some left.

I agree the hair is good, this post is really for Should (seeing as you seem to have solved your challenge) if you use the foam pattern for the fabric you are making a  cover that fits the dimensions of the INSIDE of the shape, not the outside. I learnt this on my rabbit that is posted in my gallery. The head was nice thin foam and the fleece (cheap fleece, not antron) and I got away with it due to the stretch in the fabric (the back seam puckered a little) the body however was very thick foam (working with mis-matched off cuts does that to you) and I ended up putting an extra panel up the back. If I hadn't gotten away with it on the head I would have learnt my lesson earlier!
In the meantime, make fabric patterns from old t shirts, (suggestion I learnt from project puppet tutorial page re: adding facial features. Check it out.)

Well, I decided to go ahead and continue with Mr. Harmon before I finish Camille, plus the torso that I made fitted him better!

I did take lots of pictures and will post them in my craft blog along with all my photos of Camille.

Here's what Mr. Harmon is looking like now. I used the torso from Puppet Lady (thanks PL! ) I love this torso, the way it synches in at the waist especially. As you can see below I am making a apple green felt jacket for him. He's not finished yet, but almost, and I'm very excited about the process of making puppets, this is SO MUCH FUN! Hopefully each one will get better and better as I gain experience.
