Cool puppets!  You should have no problems selling them on etsy.

I also like the blue bins in the background on your work table.  Where did you get those?   Sorry to take away the focus from the puppets but you know use.... we always want the backstage tour!

Total cuteness. I love the white furry guy!

Shawn,

Thank you.  The blue bins in the back are bi-products of my day job.  Lab equipment and supplies come in them.  I have two sizes.   The large one has a handle.  I believe you can purchase the boxes, but I get mine from the trash.  If I come across so more I can let you know.

First of all very nice work. I have a question about the orange one. Is it a glorified sock puppet pattern? If so how do you keep the head so nicely formed ?

It looks like you have been busy.

Billy,

Yes I have.   My wife has been working longer hours, which means I get to play in my studio more.  I have also made some none puppet related things.

BiZcut,

They are all the glorified sock pattern.  The orange one had the alternate body.  I get the heads to formed by using polyfill stuffing.  You can find it at most fabric stores.  In my opinion, it also makes the puppet more comfortable.

Craig

Poly fill stuffing does give the puppet a more soft pillow like feel. I would like to mention this about poly fill. There is a regular upholstery type poly blend used for pillows. I particularly like the softer poly fill used in baby  products.
There is a big difference in the two.
