Anyone have any free animal puppet head patterns?

Any basic head pattern can be used as a animal pattern by adding floppy ears, snouts, fur, etc. Body shapes can also add to the appearance of the head to distinguish what the animal is.

Ah. I remember you asking about this on Blogtv last night. The closest I know of to a "free animal pattern" would be to watch the same Thistledown puppets that Harlin used.
But like Billy said. Any basic head pattern can be used as a base. I'd suggest the free round head pattern. If you need any help on how to add features, you can find me on Blogtv.
The pattern seems to still be in Billy's gallery under the PDF subdirectory. I hope that helps.

Which type of animal? I have a soft plush toy book, "Soft Animals A to Z" by Carolyn Hall, and it has great patterns for 26 different animals (each starting with a different letter, of course - I'll let you guess what starts with an X). The patterns for many of the heads can be modified to include a moving mouth. I took the pig and blew that up nice and big, it worked really well.
