Sorry Bhanu I don't agree that it needs any eyebrow, the tuft of hair on top would wave in the breeze like wild eyebrows. Each to their own though, makes the world go round!
I do wonder though how it would look with domed plastic or glass eyes, still small round and black. The proportion of the smaller eyes gives him SO much character but the shine would be a bit more organic... It's something I'm really keen to work on with my own puppets. Eyes are wet after all.
He looks so great, I'd love to make a working hand puppet soon. My own work is a bit stifled by circumstance right now so I'm living vicariously through all of you for a moment!
Great stuff Dave.

wow, thanks for all the kind words and birthday wishes everybody! Bhanu...his name is Rupert Dangle. But, Im still developing his character. Scoob, I definitely agree about the shine on the eyes...to be honest, Im too impatient and when I made the eyes, I had nothing like that and no car...so I decided to just make do with what I had. Thanks again everyone...this is super encouraging. Next up... Scurvy Dave the PUPPET!!!

He Looks Fantastic Dave! I love the head shape and how you blended methods to produce something of your own. The fur and the beady eyes add such a nice personality to him. Great work!
I'm glad you found the forum and Billy helpfuL!

Yes, this puppet is great, I love the color and his character. Thanks for the tip... I will use an exacto knife behind now to cut thick pile fabric. Good work!

Hey all...thanks again everyone for the kind words...I thought you might want to see Rupert in action. Fair warning...there's a bad word at the very end...so maybe don't let the kids watch, but otherwise enjoy! And of course, comments and criticisms are very welcome. Thanks guys!
