Hey all.....I am soooooo glad to be back today.....has been a crazy ride and been busy with a "special" project with puppetry.
Anyways that is not why you came here....lol....I am letting everyone know that I am going to be starting up the Blog TV live workshop show in Sept.
I don't have a date because I am asking YOU to let me know what night works best for the overall community....there are many people who come from our site as well as from many other places. I have added a poll to my Blog TV page http://www.blogtv.com/people/StiqpuppetsLive (FYI you do not need a computer cam to be part of this communtiy) under the chatters box you will see a row of black boxes and then one black one below them with lines running vertical...press on that button and you will see a poll and then click on the day you want the work shop to happen and it will count your vote and show you the results. I will leave it up for another week from this day and then announce the day the weekly workshop will be on and the date it will start (more than likely the second week of September).
I will be spending the first two months mainly focused on building a professional style puppet for everyone to learn step by step. I need it done by at least a week or so before Halloween because I am planning to use it for that time of year. I am probably making a cartoony style Frankenstein. These video's are not made to "copy" my puppet but to give you the steps and skills to make a professional puppet.
I am hoping to see more new faces (since we have had many new people sign up this summer
) at the show and what is great is you can ask questions as we do our workshop.....it is a great place to chat with other puppet builders, makers and performers. It only takes about 3 minutes to sign up for your FREE account and have access to all this great interactive information...I also come on live in my studio and you can talk about any issues you are having with your puppet and we can brainstorm solutions....since I am in my studio I can usually give you visuals and ideas with stuff right on hand.
Stop reading sign up...go and vote....I will then give the date for the first show....then clear your calendar for that night for the year....

That is totally awesome stiqman! i really would like to see how you put those amazing puppets together :D im starting a new puppet soon as you may have guessed and it would be great to see how i can make it look proffessional from your tutorial! and i agree that more guests need no get an account, this is an amazing website full of smart and helpful people

Well sorry I went on a get away for a few days and I am back.
So the poll on my Blog TV site says that Monday nights work best. I got 41 votes and Monday took the 75% mark.
We are starting on Monday September 14th at 9:00 PM EST (for about an hour and half show) which would make it 6:00PM PST....7:00PM MST.....and 8:00PM CST.
So clear your Mondays for the next 10 months....lol....
I wish I could start earlier but I live in PST zone and I need to eat some supper and a little time to get organized....lol. I will always have an after show for people to show off there work or ask questions that go beyond the show it itself if you wish to stick around.
I hope to see many new faces and old come out and join us I will be starting the season with making a Frankenstien Puppet from foam and maybe fleece hand in mouth style. I hope you all come with questions and ideas. Love to meet many new ones and catch up with some of the older members since I have been off for most of the summer.
