Learning through observation Posted by ElectricMayhemMD on Aug 28, 2009
Hi I'm Liz and I'm brand spanking new here at the forums. I just wanted to introduce myself since it seems a little rude for me to troll your forums and never say hello.
I'm reluctant to even say that I'm new to puppet making since I haven't quite taken the steps to even start yet... puppet making is something thats been interesting to me but this is the first time I've actually thought seriously of trying to actually do it. So I've started researching what making puppets requires which lead me here. You guys are absolutely amazing! Alot of my questions, and I always have alot, have already been answered just by reading the forums. Everyone seems so friendly and willing to help, its really encouraging. So I think I might stick around here for a little while.
So, uh, yeah. Thats me. In a nutshell. Hi everyone.

Hi Liz! Cheers for the Electric Mayhem, one of the best bands ever!
You are certainly welcome, and remember, every puppetmaker started out by having never made a puppet. Then, too, this place isn't just for puppetmakers, it's for anything to do with puppets. And Stuff!
Glad you broke out of your nutshell. I did, long ago. I also found out that even outside the shell, I was still a nut. Now, grab a paper bag, draw a face on it, and then you will have made a puppet.
