I'd like to first apologize about the Puppet Building 101 mess. It was, just that, a real mess. Everyone who enrolled in the course should by now have received a refund either by PayPal, echeck (also through PayPal) or in a couple cases in the form of a bank draft by mail. I did the last batch of electronic ones last night.

I have not really been online at all since June/July and am only now catching up with emails and such. It was not so much a case of ignoring anyone, as not just not being around. Without ducking responsibility and making excuses, although the problems with the course were largely beyond my control, I could have and should have resolved everything in a much more prompt and timely manner. I am very sorry to everyone who had such a negative experience with this, especially those members of the community that I had enjoyed such positive relationships with in the past.

In light of a particularly nasty discussion about this over at Puppet Hub (which I only heard about 3rd hand and did not have the opportunity to read before it was deleted) I am not really going to comment or discuss this further publicly except to point to a new post over on my blog - http://www.puppetvision.info/2009/10/cleaning-up-and-apologising.html which I think says all I can say about this.

Thank you Andrew for the update.  I also want to thank the members of Puppets and Stuff for not letting things get ugly on this thread.  I feel everyone has handled the subject well in this public forum.
