Howdy everyone. I just stumbled into this site (which is pretty much how I do everything - stumble into it!) and this seems like a great community to live and learn in! I've been performing puppets since I was six years old (I won't mention how long that is, exactly) and even worked as a professional puppeteer for awhile in a blacklight show. I also earned my degree in Elementary Education and frequently taught puppet workshops in school and church. I have my own puppet theatre of sorts, and mostly do volunteer performances for local charities. I make the puppets, write the scripts, perform all the puppet roles, and produce/direct the shows. I'm looking forward to learning lots of new techniques and getting lots of suggestions from all of you creative people!

It sounds like you have had many wonderful experiences and I am sure we all will learn a lot from each other.

WELCOME!! I would LOVE to hear more about your theatre and your workshops etc! I am a former elementary teacher - now travel full-time as a performer - but I also teach classes for teachers on how to use puppetry in their classroom! Please start telling us more!! (or send me an email and we can dialogue without tying up the forum!)

This forum can't be tied up! It is as talented as Harry Houdini! That's a conversation I would love to eavesdrop on.

Did someone say they were to be tied up ! This is where Magic comes in
