Another method you might try is googling under images "inch worm puppets"  you will have a large selection to choose from.

Thanks so much, y'all are the greatest.  My mind was blank, and I needed a little inspiration to get the creative juices flowing.

I have been asked to design a worm to correlate with a new Children's Church Curriculum that will be out sometime next year. They want a fairly simple pattern they can include with the curriculum so people can make their own if they desire. I will also be designing one that I will sell and they will mention that the puppet can be ordered from me.  I have plenty of time to work on this, so am just in the planning stages.
