Thanks Billy, just read those links, it doesn't seem as though it's doable. I now find myself staring at a panel of black fleece that came in the mail, mmm.

It can be done, with the right  immersion type dye, heat, and a combination of other chemicals you can dye it black. Whether is is worth your time and money...I would say No, when it is only $15.00 a yard. Maybe you will find some on sale again but in black next time.

Sometimes it is cheaper to just buy it in black....lol. 

Something new I found out that shaprie's do fade over time to a brownish colour.....something that was brought to my attention recently in my blogtv room by another artist....just thought I shared it with you all.....there are other black permament artist markers that stay black forever with no fade not sure did not ask but you could find them I am sure in Micheals or other art shop.
