Hi folks,

Last month I conducted a one day workshop on sock puppet
making in two batches. I have uploaded the pics in picassa link...

In India contemporary puppetry is not very professional like in the West
or in European countries though we have a rich heritage of traditional puppet
forms that is part of village or folk culture.

Great job Bhanu.  You had a very creative group of students. Just think in years in the future you may be known as the father of modern Indian puppetry.

Thanks Billy, esch, miguel, Jon & Daryl for your feedback.

Next workshop will be on foam head puppet making.
I have planned a simple process so that participants can
finish the puppet within one day & develop a story
with manipulation. I am making a sample puppet now.
P&S will have the privilege of viewing the puppet picture
once it is ready.

I am very happy to be part of P&S...only one of its
kind in the world or shall I say IN THE UNIVERSE!!!

Cheers
Bhanu
