When you do a new post (doesn't work with the quick reply, though) you have a list of different buttons. The one right under Strikethrough, which is to the right of Underline, Has a picture of what looks like the earth with something else. This is the Insert Hyperlink button. Highlight your link and then click the button.

If you want the link to say something different than the url, then add a = and then the url inside the first set of brackets and then put your description between the two sets of the code. Hope this makes sense.
