Daniel

Daryl did a video where he used a Pannabaker pattern/kit. I understand they are to be good kits.............. quite expensive for me right at this time. here is the link to his videos .............. The puppet with the red skin is the pannabaker puppet.

Yes Billy is right I have made it and it is a great professional kit if that is what you are looking for.  The materials are great and gives you a great ideas for making  professional puppets.  If I am on BlogTV live then I can show you the puppet in action if you wish.

Thanks Daryl, also can I ask what code kit you purchased?
Im thinking of going for the smaller mouthplate because thats the size I find irritating to create from scratch.

Cheers,
Dan

Hey there it is Kit-D.  that I bought many moons ago...I just popped it out to make it and show people some of the stops that is used in putting together a professional style puppet.  Like I said good product over all great materials....the DVD is a great asset as well if you can afford both.....they seem to still sell the VHS but I got a DVD because they were just finishing them up and so if you ask you well probably be able to get a updated DVD.

I have the "A" kit, and it is really wonderful to go through Mr. Pannabecker's process!
There's a great deal in technique to be harvested; his upper mouth grip is really spectacular!

I want to point out that unless anything has changed recently, patterns are no longer included with the kits.  So it appears it's a one time, one puppet deal.

Unless of course you trace the materials before making the puppet....just saying.

I just found out that there is a video /dvd at arm length but what is it telling you: how to make a puppet, technics, patterns or how you can make them yourself. The kit is too expensive for me but I like the puppets. Maybe the video is possible for me.......................
