How do I enable attachment option to post jpg pictures of my marionettes?

We don't use the attachments on this forum. You should see a Gallery Image button below the post screen and when you click on it you can navigate to your Gallery where you have uploaded images and select the one you want to insert.  It is a bit buggy though and some folks can't see the images listed in their main directory but only the ones that are in sub directories they have created.  Not sure what the problem is with that.  Since it is hit and miss it might be a permissions problem but I have not been able to sort it out.   If you know the location (url) of the image you can but it between the img bbCode tags even if you can't see it in the selections useing the Gallery Image button.  Clicking on the small image icon at the top of the post screen will insert the tags for you.

I take it then that the attachments disabled at the top has nothing to do with the problem I messaged you about. If you replied I am no longer seeing any replies, email forums I posted in or anything else.It is close to Christmas so I think you are probably on vacation and may not have seen my message yet. I'll go through my computer and see if I can find the problem there. Thank you-Steve

Steve,

Did you PM me about this?  I went back in my personal messages and could not find anything.  I do recall that Na had mentioned she was not receiving email notifications any longer about post she was following or when someone PM'd her. The disable of the attachments should not affect that feature at all.

I don't actually use the feature since I am here so often.   I enable it on a couple post to see if I get notifications.

Two things you can check are, to make sure that puppetsandstuff.com is on your white-list of sites for sending email so the notifications don't get sent to a junk mail box.  This can be set both at your ISP or email provider and in the email program you use to retrieve email.  I see you use aol for your email and they have pretty strong filters.  I'm not getting any bounce back email saying that the emails are rejected so they must be shuffling them away some place.

It was the button under the search button(+ -) as you replied. My computer will activate a button just by the pointer going over it and that must be what happened. Thank you for your help-Steve
