Windows 7 Posted by Billy D. Fuller on Nov 01, 2009
I have just installed the latest version of windows " Windows 7 "........... I was wondering if any of you have tried it and how you likeit vs Vista and XP. After watching all the videos reviews about it's touch screen features. some of the features do not work on my new HP Touch Smart !Q526. It seems you need a two touch or multi touch input available in your software for these features to work. I have installed on my HP a single touch input. I can't find any upgrades from HP either.
When I upgraded to Windows 7 I forgot to dis-connect my lan internet..................... as instructed. I hope I want have any driver glitches as suggested in the set up instructions. It seems to work very much like Vista. I have not had time to play with it.
If you have any ideas, suggestions, or comments about Windows 7 Please let us know. I know this is not about Puppetry but the computer plays a big part in how we interact with each other. I thought this might be of interest.

I know nothing about Windows 7, But I would sure love to have you post about your experiences with it from time to time. Does this mean that your computer purchase went relatively smoothly?

Yes Chris.............. I Love my Touch Smart computer. Since changing from Windows Vista to Windows 7 I'm still trying to work out the kinks. My Touch smart features have some glitches since the loading of Windows 7. I will let you know how things go once I contact HP support or Windows 7 support. Not sure who needs to address what.
Things were working just fine when Vista was running. I still have my old work horse XP hooked up........... could not bare to pack it away.
