It is possible to save a video from you tube and like sites. I hesitate on telling how because there might be a copyrite issue-Steve

I can respect that, Monkey.  I would like to compile all of my favorite videos and make a copy for all my friends here on P&S.  I was given a link by someone so I'll see if I can do it.  I obviously don't want to make money from this but want to have a way to save these treasures.

I would not encourage anyone to violate copyright laws but it is nice to sometimes have a local copy of something for ones own use.  There is a plugin for FireFox called Download Helper.  It is not perfect but it works pretty good on most stuff.
