Wow thanks for all the encouraging comments everyone. Good to see that Tall Ted is teaching some of you about Australian animals. Yes Blue Tongues are a very cool lizard indeed and help keep the old plant hungry snail at bay. But Yabbies are my favorite. Most dams and lakes have them in and all you need is a chunk of meat on a string and in no time you will have a bucket full of delectable dining, well Tall Ted doesn't eat them but I sure do!

Today I got to do a Story Time with my wife as the Christmas Elf, it was her first time performing like this and she plus all the kids had a ball. I must admit it was an absolute blast but at the end of the show all the kids lined up to get a picture with the Chrismas elf and poor old Tall Ted was left to clean up.

It reminded me of a scene from a show called Corner Gas where one of the characters gets to star as Safety Pete! and takes to it like a duck to water.
