Very cool Mike!  I love the use of the template to streatch and shape the felt around the ball.... ingenious!

Hi Billy,
They are just circle templates that you can buy at an art store or "Staples" Office supply. They are for drawing circles. Or you can drill a hole in a thin piece of plastic a little bigger than the ball and use that. Just make sure the inside edge is smooth so it is easy to take out once you cut the felt. But you can use this with other fabrics as well.
