It looks like you build your own private jail
do you put that in a opened window ??
Re: While I wait... Posted by dacostasr on Jan 01, 2010
Thanks
LOL....jail...sometimes it feels that way in the winter. You can see all the snow in the upper part of the window. Yes, I opened the window and then had to make some garbage bag side covers...the house got a little cold but you couldn't smell the glue.
I don't know if they have that out of the country...I would think they do. Model Magic is soooo light weight, I thought the package was empty...lol.
Here is another pic...just see what things might look like...

Great work Dennis! The puppet is coming along very nicely and I love your set up for expelling the fumes.

Thanks!
I went to Joanne Fabrics today and foam was 50% off...WOOHOO! so I got 3 yards of 1/2 and completely redid the head...I know that sounds crazy...but what a difference. I can actually open the mouth without straining. I also gave him a bit of an overbite to get that old geezer kind of mouth. Of course with 1/2 inch he lost a bit of that heavy brow...but I can add on
I didn't add the ears yet...
The fun continues.

Re: While I wait... Posted by gompie on Jan 03, 2010
this one looks great too it is dificult too see it that it is better but I just bought 1 cm foam (I believe that is with you 1/2) Before I only used 2 cm and I couldn't work with that .
On this moment I am making a head from puppets brazil pattern. And quess what I glueed it in my opened front door so the smell went outside. I think you private jail dacostasr is a little bit better idea but for know it works

Great work there dacostasr! It is funny that is my next big project, I will be beginning this New Year is an old fellow. I can't wait to see yours finish it looks like you have a great start.
BTW Gompie if you click on my Youtube button under my avatar (on the left) and go through the video's I have one with Model magic and how to use it ect....plus a picture of packaging. That may help give you more of an idea on what it looks like. I will be spending this January since all the video's are up to label them and put a description of them so they are a bit organized.
