Gosh he is looking soooooooo good! A couple more shots of those eyes please. They're a bit "Marty Feldman" at the moment, (which cold be great for your character!) Can we see them from the side, are they very proud of the surface of the eyeball?
Have you thought about NOT cutting his hair, it all depends on the character you have in mind of course but I love the wild shaggy old man (my father, as an aging beatnick has longish silvergrey hair hat sits in a bit of a mane, kids love it) The bushy eyebrows too are kind of a symptom of old age so they may be "better" untouched as well. As per previous parts of this thread, if you sew it on you can always change it, avoid glue, at least till you are certain.
Of course that's all only opinion on small stuff, there is no "wrong" only "different." He looks fantastic you've inspired me a lot! Oh yeah, I'm curious about the teeth too, very slick!

Geez forget it I was posting that on the bottom of page five instead of six! Eyes look great, I'm right with Shawn on the "less mean" thing and now I see that great uniform I guess he has to have short hair afterall.

Kai,

I am so impressed with the quality of your work.  The uniform is wonderful.
Re: While I wait... Posted by dacostasr on Jan 17, 2010
THanks.

Yep,  not going to trim those "wild" eyebrows.  Seeing how he is an old military guy I'll have to trim the back of his hair but other than that I'm not going to trim it at all.  Here is a side pic of his eyes...kind of googly.

And a picture of the "eyelashes", How do you guys think the eyelashes look on him?  I kind of like them but I think he looks good without them also.  I see so many puppets with them that look nice so I just cut some to try them.

Here is a pic without them ....it almost makes him look older...opinions?

The teeth are "model magic" from crayola.  I left them looking bleached because I figured they are dentures that he soaks every night...lol

Thanks  Thanks

And don't forget the one's in the ears, very important

Yeah looks older without the brown "eyelashes" Hair gets thinner and wispy every where and old people often have little to no eyelashes.
Love those teeth, first thing I thought of was dentures as well.
Perhaps if he is the disciplined neat old guy he might eventually get an "odd couple" hill billy partner, stained, broken or missing teeth, long hair and a string vest?
Looking so good.
