Awesome puppet always Jay, you are so good at this particular style. I did try some of your techniques, but the result is really not as good. I guess practice makes perfect. But I am wondering, I do remember that you are the one who send me the plastic egg I used in my latest Matilda puppet and I was wondering where you purchased these egg's? I would love to get some for my next puppet.

Should

I sent you a variety of styro eggs, plastic eggs, eyes, and ornamental domes.

Wow I like the hair a lot....very well done.....Out of curiosity what did you use to produce the long dreadlocks look on him?  Glad to hear you are doing well and hope to see more of you around here.

Hi Jay,

Well the egg you send me was solid, and the plastic was somewhat thick. I had to cut it in two to make two eyes, very much like the eyes of your current puppet here. I think it was about 2 inch long, or one and a half inch wide. But I am not totaly sure as I am more familiar with cm rather than inches. Does that ring a bell?

It dont recall solid eggs I usually use molds I made to cast my eyes. The only eggs I use are from a company called Darice that is a wholesaler. You can buy their eggs from Schrocks (SP) International. They sell all their products. If I sent some others I really dont remember what they were Im sorry.

Well the egg was hollow, just not in two parts but in one.

Well what do you use to make the eyes of your puppets now?

I make different shapes and them make a silicon mold of them. I pour them up in a liquid white plastic I use.
