Re: My second puppet Posted by Kai2010 on Jan 17, 2010
The head is the same pattern as I used for Cindy, only the lower jaw is longer.
The body a litle bit shaped like a V.
The abdominals are simply cut out. Then I glued a bigger Shape of covered foam behind it.
The Hair is just simply light blond fur fabric and the eyes are ping pong balls.
I added this pictures so it's a little bit easier to see how the puppet is made.

Wow really nice work for the second puppet ......I love the peaks on the body as well.....I may suggest making the shirt tighter to show off the body detail a little more.....especially with all the detail work you did.....why hide it?

Great job!  I agree with Daryl that if the T-shirt is tighter it would show of his muscles more.  I did not get who it was at first but when I saw calicat61's answer it all made sense.  I thought the bandanna on the head was a night cape at first so was thinking father time.

Thanks to all for the great response
I thought it would not be necessary to write "Hulkamania" on the bandana and the shirt.
My wife said also "Make the shirt tighter so that the muscles came out a little bit more".
Ok ok, he gets a tighter shirt the next days.

What is a night cap?
Do you mean this old grandpa hat for sleeping?

Hi Kai,

Thank you for posting those pictures. I am currently building a few huge puppets, but I had a problem that kept nagging me to a point I could not go any further. I have small hands and my hands would just float into the heads. Your picture of how it is into Hulk's really gave me the solution I was looking for to solving my problem. Thank you very much for posting it. I will be able to continue on my puppets that have been sitting on my shelves for quite a few weeks now. Great work once again!!!

Yes that is what I mean by "night cap".  I really wish I could remember some German from my childhood.  It would make it easier to communicate with you.
