Thanks very much! Eddie is only my 3rd puppet, and one I designed the pattern for myself with a foam understructure. The clothes I bought at Walmart. His hair is actually a feather hair clip; I simply separated the feathers (which were gobbed on with glue) from the clip and then glued it to his head. The antron fleece I bought at Puppet Mart, as well as the dye that I used for Eddie.

That is one of my dye packs?? It looks nice! I always like seeing what people have made with items from Puppet Mart.

Oh and I love the similarity between your puppet:

And mine:

Your puppets look great.  I especially like the little red head.
Re: NH Puppet Builder Posted by April Dawne on Jan 21, 2010
Actually, Eddie is the one using dye and fleece from Puppet Mart, the little yellow guy I made with a spongebob squarepants fleece robe my son outgrew lol, and he does look like your little guy! I think yours is younger tho haha.

Btw, I just got in some fleece from syfabrics.com (good pricing fyi) and I'm not sure which side is the "good side" on this stuff. Antron fleece has a definite backside, this stuff does not. And thanks again for the compliments! I think many of you do way better work than I do, but that's just my opinion! lol

You purchased a double sided fleece. It really shouldn't matter.  Often double sided fleece has a print on one side and is solid on the other or has two different prints.  This is so you can make either cloths or blankets that are reversible.

Hey welcome to P&S we love to see new people and what they are doing in the puppet world.....unfortunately I can only see the one picture of the puppets you made the other pics are gone.  It seems you did a great job on the one that I did see....thanks for taking the time for signing up and sharing something about yourself.

One question I have... what is the actual process of picking the seams of antron fleece? I don't want to overpick, or do it wrong and ruin an otherwise good puppet! :D

Just so you know I just uploaded on YouTube a stitch video that may give you some visuals on doing seams.....the link is below my avatar on the left....click the YouTube button.

Hope that helps a little to put a visual to words.

Re: NH Puppet Builder Posted by StiqPuppet Productions on Jan 24, 2010
Ty Shawn for that....I thought they were posted in the box and did not think about going to the gallery......that is why I was a little confused.

Well you did a nice job with the puppets....I really appreciate that you shared it with us.....keep up the nice work and keep us updated to your projects.

Thanks for the encouragement and compliments! Much appreciated. I have a new (finished rather) puppet to post pics of soon! I used the glorified sock pattern for it. I'm also working on a new one of my "modified" roly puppets. At this rate I'll need to order more fleece soon! Also I'm thinking of selling puppets under the name Central Street Puppets. How much would someone charge for a simple logo featuring perhaps one of my puppets?  Thanks again everyone!!
