Re: NH Puppet Builder Posted by April Dawne on Feb 16, 2010
Ok the puppet is finally finished (although I might add a ring or two and a necklace as well). The shirt came out great! I resized it and sewed it by hand, then washed it and added the iron-on to the front.

The name April keeps jumping out at me every time I see this puppet, so that is what I have been calling her.

Did anyone notice the earrings? lol

I was just doing some research on Antron fleece and found out that it is/was being made by Hampshire Textiles in Laconia, NH.... and I live in Manchester, NH... hell I could drive on up there!!! Amazing to me to think that the world's supply of Muppet fleece has been manufactured right in my own backyard all this time and I didn't even know!

p.s. I'm planning a covert op to make off with a roll or two ~shhhhhhh~

I finished my monster puppet last night! I even put in a sleeve

What does everyone think? I made it from a modified pinhead puppet pattern and alternate foam body pattern from project puppet (I just LOVE those people!)
