My first (and second) puppets Posted by jaysmith on Jan 21, 2010
Hi Everyone,

I just recently started building puppets. This is my first puppet was made for the musical Nunsense this past summer.

My wife was directing the show and need a puppet for it; Sister Mary Annette. She asked if I could build one. So with the help of the Foam Book, I gave it a shot.

Several months later I thought I would try again, making one for me. I've always been a big Frankenstein fan, so I decided to aim for that. I got most of the way through construction when I discovered StiqPuppets vlog and that helped me out with some more ideas.

I'm hoping to get some patterns soon to continue to improve my puppets. I'm anxious to hear what you think of my work so far. I actually just finished a new construction that I documented. If your interested, I could post it. Let me know.

Hi Jason,

Welcome to PnS. I would like to say that I absolutely LOVE your Sister Mary Annette. She is perfect!!! Did you use a specific pattern to make her?

Thanks for the pics, we are addicted to them :D Welcome once again!
