Very nice!  The letters are not showing up as well as I thought they would. I wonder if they along with the frame on them needs another contrasting color added?  It is going to look smashing in front of your new puppet with the flag waving in the background!

Did you use enamel paint on Styrofoam? I tried it one time and it ate away bits of the foam. Is this the case here.

Yeah they really weren't distinct.  I used a soldering iron to burn them in and they painted with acrylics.  I think the letters just got a little distorted.

Here is a pic with some outlining in red...I'm thinking about using a black sharpie to highlight the letters themselves.

Great little tutorial and nice work on the end result.....thanks for sharing and telling us all about this project....props are not talked a lot about in this forum this is certainly a nice add on.
