I thoroughly enjoyed reading through your post. I am so glade you took the time not only to take pictures but to post about the process.
I really like your take on the hands. I know you may feel they did not turn out the way you wanted them but they really do have character. I bet your next set well be more to your liking since we always learn from our past endeavors. Notice I did not use the word mistake.
I agree with you that his cloak should be different. It kind of gets lost. How well does his hump show in it? I am wondering if his hump could stick out and show his skin some or maybe you could cut a contrasting fabric and drape it over where the hump is. Just kind of thinking off the top of my head.
Again thank you so much for sharing and great job!
P.S. Love the eye thing and technique you used for the nostrils.

Thanks for all of your comments.
I'm still trying to come up with some ideas for my next puppets. I have a couple, and hopefully I will do some puppet videos with them once their finished.

Congrats...Wonderful puppet!!!...the whole process has been done
with lot of planning including the documentation part...I like
your approach to give lot of character to the puppet.
Thanks for the pics & the notes. You have a done a great Job!!
I like the cloak texture but if you had used a different
colour ...sort of some contrast then it would have enhanced
the head part..just a small idea...but the overall finish is simply
GREAT!!!

Amazing work! I'm speechless and just hoping that I can make my own as good one day! I'll definitely be able to incorporate some of the tips you show in my own designs

I'm planning on redesigning the cloak, probably a red or burgundy.
