Yeah, because I immediately am going to assume that you're referring to that (even now I'm assuming you mean a baby product because you haven't come out and attached a reference to a product name). I'm not a mind reader, and even if I am aware of one particular baby product, I'm not aware of the background of that particular product's history. Just because they sell it here doesn't mean I have a clue about anything about it except that it exists.

So if you're attempting to get me to say "well, they did it so it's ok" or anything else, you'd be so far off the mark it's not funny. I'm not going to comment on a situation I have no idea about.

Nice baiting, but seriously, you need some work on your argument, because I still have no clue what you're talking about and am not interested enough in it to go google.

Either way, I've made my point: replicas are illegal, I don't support them, no one here will give you a pattern for something that's copyrighted, others may give you suggestions on how to make one, but there are still legitimate ways to support your favourite characters without breaking the law.

You don't like it, tough. There are plenty of others here who will happily chat to you about replicas; I don't think anyone here would disagree with the comment though that replicas, made without permission from the copyright owner, is illegal.

Yo relax. Like I said before it was food for though. That means take it or leave it. Obviously you want to leave it. and if you have any interest in trying to figure it out then Google it, then you will find the answer. I just don't feel like explaining when it does not matter.

We can only suggest ideas to you. The eyes in question are made of acrylic and can be be bought at most doll or bear craft supplies. These eyes come in a variety of sizes and colors. I think you may be interested in the yellow and what is called amber.

Well the "snuggie talk" is a result of my post about my post on the fact that the Avenu Q bad idea bears are copyrighted.   You may have missed that since you are focused on how to make the bears.

First let's answer your question about yellow eyes. You could modify the basic black and whit image in this post to get what you want. http://puppetsandstuff.com/community/index.php/topic,4815.0.html  Something like this:

Also Billy has given you some great links.

In regards to the copyright issue, it comes up quite often on the site.   We start to get into a gray area I think when it comes to fan replicas.  Fans have been making their versions of what they love for many years.  Have you ever been to a SciFi convention? I personally don't see anything wrong with this.

We also run into a situation when it comes to Avenue Q since it is a musical that well be performed by other companies then the original Broadway company at some point.  Not sure if they have released it yet or not but seems I remember reading that they had.  Just like when Little Shop of Horrors was released, there was a need for variations on the plant puppet. Now it might be that like with the Nunsense puppet there well be certian stipulations put on puppets themselves.

I prefer to create original designs and puppets and encourage others to do so also, but I know that when I was younger I learned by example. In other words I would try to duplicate what I admired.  Even at a young age I still wanted it to be my own so I normally changed the colors or features but in essence I was copying another persons work. I respect other peoples work and think it is important to not take work away from them, I just see the issue a little more gray then black and white I think.

I would say you could use spoons. They come in different sizes and have been used by puppet makers for years.
