I was looking at your picture of VitaMan so far and he looks GREAT!  I have one thought, maybe make his tongue be a small carrot shape, thin part at the front of his mouth.  Just a thought.

Thanks everyone for the encouragement, it's been a lot of work, writing out the scripts, practicing, building puppets and their clothes, but it's been fun! The shows are this weekend, saturday and sunday.

The first is called 'King Roshan and the Very, Very Bad Idea, and the other one with the superhero is called 'The School Project'.

The first one is about a young prince who is made to eat veggies and fruit when he was young and vows that when he becomes king he will ban fruit and veggies from his kingdom... and he does too, until his daughter gets sick. It take a handsome prince with basket of fruit and veg to change the king from his really bad idea!

The second is a couple of school kids have to show and tell info on fruit and veg, VitaMan saves the day by showing up in the knick of time and giving them info on how good fruit and veg are for you, and he even lets them keep his posters for their show and tell.

One of my son's is going to take lots of pictures, I'll post some next week.

for his head, was there a free pattern for the foam skull or did you design this on your own?

I pretty much did this myself, though to be honest I wouldn't make his head so big next time. I had to then make his body to the same proportions, which was huge!! I got the inspiration for the torso from jomama's full puppet torso. Actually I didn't make anything permanent with VitaMan either, so he could be another large character if we ever need one, like a demonic principality over a continent, perhaps, lol
