I just wanted to let you know that "stranger danger" while an important lesson is statistically speaking not very pressing.
Interesting, because I was just asked to do a segment on stranger danger as part of a Family Safety fair being sponsored and put on by the town and hospital! I guess everyone has a different take on things!

Hi SusieQ, here is a link to two on-line TV episodes covering Road Safety for preschoolers and Fire Safety.

You just have to put up with a 15 sec add before the show starts.
I hope it is of use for you.
Regards,

Bret

well like i said it's still a thing people want their kids to be aware of because these stranger crimes do happen (these are much more likely to be newsworthy), but kids are far more likely to be hurt by someone they already know.

Maybe the lesson should be "Strangeness" Danger.  I realize that it is not as catchy.  Actually when someone a child knows is abusing them, they are in a way acting like a stranger. In other words they are not acting the way the normally do. That may be too difficult a concept for a child to grasp though.
