Sergeant Imperative is done. ExClamation is done now too but he is already at school and I did not get a picture yet, will get one when summer vacation comes if he is still in one piece. I got an unexpected vacation this week when I had to have my gallbladder removed so I finally got time to finish him. Finally all 4 grammar puppets finished.

I finally got to snap a picture of Exclamation while I was helping with my precious new first grand daughter this week. Clam held up pretty good for being in a kindergarten class. I had a difficult time keeping the curve of his shell, it kept wanting to flatten out. I tried darts in the foam, sewing it tighter on the underside, and then gave up and put a metal hanger inside to force it to stay curved some. This was one of those ideas that seemed easier in my head. I went with the joint in the middle of symbol backed with hard plastic in mouth and it works well. I had this really large pearl button I was going to use but when it came time I could not find it anywhere so I just sewed thru the middle of a black bouncy ball. Gremlins in my puppet supplies again.

I love it too, The exclamation idea looks like it will work really well. For all the difficulties getting the shape , you got it really well.

Thanks I enjoyed seeing the kids with them, the school has no picture policy so I can't share those scenes with you.

I had a baby button with an elastic loop to hold the hat on frog but allow it to be removed. After Kindergarten the hat is missing now, but I kept the mold so I can make another. I was surprised at how easy it was to make that hat. I am going to make some more because you can't have too many hats for your puppets.
