Not sure if this is the right board for this.
Where do you sell your puppets? I know some have mentioned ebay, or etsy, some have web sites, some do conferences.
Please tell us where you sell and if you do conferences, where do you find out about them?
And - if there is somewhere you have tried that was a disaster, please share that too.
Also - how much do you pay for a booth? Do you look at past attendance numbers as a guide when making a decision? I've received info for booths anywhere from $35 to $2,000.
We did a conference in W.V. for a couple of years. We paid our expenses, but not much else. The last year we were there someone stole several puppets from our table (at night, when booths were closed). This was not an ideal set up, and I learned that I am not interested in setting up in an area that cannot be locked up at night or when the conference is not in session.
