Hello everyone,
It's been a looong while since I've been here but it's nice to see familiar faces and some new ones as well.
Life's been incredibly busy with college, extra-curriculars, church, and.. yes, puppets! My plans have been changing and I actually got back from a very inspiration weekend at the OWS Sacramento Puppet Festival. I'm not new to them but this year was very different than other years. We actually had the priviledge of attending one where all the competition slots were filled, we had great new workshops with amazing new faces for staff, and a wonderful performance by the Murphies. We also had the honor of being the Featured Performers, something that still amazes me but reminds me how blessed I am.
For those of you who remember, I built some sheep puppets awhile back. They kept evolving as the show progressed but are finally (somewhat) locked into a more definite design. I still have no official pictures of them but you can catch glimpses of them in action here:

Also, I made a video awhile back for a video contest. Essentially, I never finished but had fun performing, filming, and editing this all by myself. Enjoy:
Finally, I-Fest is coming up! I'm excited for this year since I'm planning on applying for the Puppetry Dream Team! Hope some of you plan on going as well.

Best wishes on your Puppetry Dream Team application! Both my sons loved being on the Dream Team! Two years ago another one of our puppeteers was on the team and we may have another applying this year. You would have a wonderful experience!

Lisa: Thank you! I'm excited for it and just need to make the time to re-do it. I planned on working on my audition video right now but I lost my voice (That's what happens for sniffing too much spray adhesive and you get a dry cough, guh). I know it's a phenomenal experience so am anxious for I-Fest to come on by!

Thanks Sue! I'm glad you like it, I'll hopefully have some clear pictures soon.
I'm happy they came out nice though I know they could've come out much better (and cleaner-looking) if I had taken more time with them. Still, they're cute sheep!
