Hi Guys, I thought this might be useful for someone...Using Bullion fringe for wigs, and if you can't get hold of any fringing, you can make this loom to make your own.

and  how to put a  wig togther...

I love the loom! Really like your method for making a wig out of fringe also.  I like that you showed how to make the fringe on the sewing machine also, in the second video.

...you are welcome.  Next thing to try, is a wider loom to try weaving a reaaally long haired rug situation, and weave the rug shapes in the shape of the wig patterns so there would be little waste of material or time. I have done a trial which proved concept, however, further development will go on the 'sometime' list.

Message ImageLove the loom, got to make one. Always looking for better hair. I have a tool (did not make it but you probably could) that came with my sewing machine for sewing carpet loops I used the looped strips to make curly puppet hair wig.  You wrap the yarn around the tool and sew down the middle on sewing machine, it helps to hold them for you.  Then  you slip it backwards while still in the machine and loop more yarn around it, sew that length then pull back again to make continuous string of loops.

Hi Guys, someone on youtube asked recently for another look at using silicon as a skinning material on foam puppets. I just happened to have a puppet a friend made which needed a few improvements, so I did the following video. You may be able to glean something from it.

I use a CO2 laser engraver and corel to cut out my patterns, not sure if that is what you were looking for.
