I thought there was some info on here regarding dyes, but I cannot find anything regarding fluorescent dye.  I need to dye some foam, and want it to be red or pink under blacklight.  I have spray painted it before, but was not really happy with the results (tends to flake off after a while). 
Help!

Although not a dye, you might check out Jacquard Textile colors http://www.jacquardproducts.com/products/paints/textilecolors/ to see if you think their product might work.

I don't think that normally you can get dyes that are florescent under black light. I would try Chris's suggestion of the fabric paints. They should be much more flexible so shouldn't flake off on you as bad.

Sorry for chiming in late just out of the hospital again.......................... You may be able to find some acid base dyes at Dharma trading. They have a couple of flourese colors in fuchsia and yellow.

Billy - will take pictures when I finish.  The pink (fuschia) does fluoresce, not as well as some other stuff I have used. Not sure how far away you can put the blacklights and have it show up. I will have to figure it out.
