We are back from West Virginia and I have some pictures to share. The first three are pictures of two of the puppets my son made in his class this semester. One is obviously a foam rod arm puppet. The second is a mechanical puppet with arms that punch out using the mechanism on the shoulders and the mouth opens using the string attached to the ring. The hands on the mechanical puppet are carved from wood and covered with paper mache then painted. The head is paper mache too. The last picture is him at graduation - notice his hat!IMG_5159IMG_5157IMG_5156IMG_5175

Thanks for the comments - we ARE very proud, graduating with honors and having all his professors tell us that he will be missed in the puppetry and theatre departments! He goes to the O'Neill Puppetry Conference in June.
