Pulcinello Animation Posted by Nikole H. on May 16, 2010
Today I visited our local Science Center here in Singapore because they had a Pixar animation exhibit celebrating 20 years of Pixar Animation. We finally got to see the original Toy Story in 3D and a huge beautiful collection of art work on display. It was truly inspiring but what really caught my eye upon exiting was a display showcasing one of Singapore's local animation school's student works. They showed a short film entitled, "Pulcinello," which is a marionette story in this case. Seeing the artwork up close such as the concept work and character designs leading up to the final piece, it came as no surprise that this piece won an award for best short film here in Singapore. Thought I would share the link that I found on Youtube to see the full short film. Hope you all like it. :D
