so this is where you can follow ideas right?
Well, i've had this idea for a while, I thought of it even before the puppet was for sale! So now that I finally got her, i'm going to start MermaidBlog!

I've already created the youtube channel, I just haven't made any videos yet....

so basically its my mermaid puppet (the link to her facebook page is in my signature if you want to give it a look) having her own blog to talk about whatever really.

things i'd like to focus on
1. Saving the environment (who better to preach about going green then a mermaid?!)
2. Using AlOT of different puppetry styles to teach kids about the ocean, and all the different places on earth that need saving (i've performed at schools for my aunts classroom and they absolutley love her)
3. Well, this one could be nothing more than a pipe dream...but I really want people to know the name Ari the Mermaid, I want to make a difference.




SO.......make sure to check out the facebook page (well, if you want....) and i'll keep everyone posted on the progress of MermaidBlog!














OH! and P.S. I also plan on attempting to make my own puppet for the show, nothing fancy just a fish puppet (or something else that lives in the ocean.)

I like this idea........................... I hope you cover the Oil spill and the dangers it has on animals and what people can do to help. I also would like to know what percentage of actual donated money goes to the care of these animals. Please post your you tube channel so we can follow your videosa.

make an octopus! that'd be a fun project. people like octopi, and with all those arms, he'd have quite a screen presence.

I would LOVE to make an octopus, that would be really fun! And I am really excited to talk about the reefs, and even show all the animals that depend on it. :D

I love all the different types of fish, so many to choose from!

I also like the blue parrot fish.

UPDATE:
Ok in the process of designing etc. I hit a snag....what should I do for the first video?
I've come up with a couple ideas, but nothing that really POPS, any ideas?

I think what is on most peoples minds is these days is the BP oil spill. I think this would be a good time to make people aware of of the present and the future effects this will have on wildlife and people. Do a video like a Movie Trailer with bits and pieces of film that would grab my attention.
