Yes that is Derth Nader from the Muppet show. I still have to make his body and outfit. I will post more photos when he is done.

What's the head made out of?

Cool!  Like Na I am curious about the materials used.

I doubt I'll be anywhere close to San Diego in July so won't be attending but you can take pictures to share.

Hi,

The head is vacuumformed plastic and is coated with plasta- dip rubber.Thats the stuff you put on tool handles. I wanted it to look like the org. helmet.

Vacuformed.... so do you have your own machine?  I played a bit with that technique years ago but it was on a old home made machine that was not very good.  Never could get decent results.

For those who are not familiar with the process we are talking about, the basic idea is that you have a sheet of plastic that gets heated up. It is then lowered down over the from you want an impression of an a vacuum sucks it the sheet down and around the object.
