first attempt at home puppet vid Posted by BiZcut on Jun 06, 2010
so its been a while since i have been on the fourms. Here is something my daughters and I were playing around with one night and I had the camara set up. it took me even longer to get it to a format I could post to youtube or anywhere else. Take a look and tell me what you think. feel free to hand out any advice as I am always looking for ways to improve.

Love the idea. I thought the way you had Carlos type was too funny. Loved it. Might suggest changing the angle of the computer so we could see more of the puppet. Possibly film from the corner of the table which gives a better staging for both the puppet and the person.

this is really cute! what program are you using to edit & compress? MPEG-4 is a pretty youtube friendly format. you can adjust the data rate to make the quality/file size higher or lower.

Thanks for the feed back.
The laptop was placed like it was due to me not being able to duck down behind the table. I am hoping to work a bit on some sets that would look better.
I had to change the file format because the camara i use flim with write to a mini dvd in dvd format. I got a converter from a local electronics store and it has software to do all the conversion of the media in the suite.
I am hoping to do more as soon as I can get some things hammered out.

I to love the way he types....very funny and great visual....the only thing I would look at is when he is typing maybe have him either look at the screen or down at the keyboard.
Keep up the good work he is a lovable character.
