has anybody used blog tv to host workshops/demonstrations? is it easy/difficult to attract viewers?

Not to hard but you really need to work at it.  Daryl's success is in part because he presented a regular "show" every week at the same time and made sure to add it to the schedule.  Also his workshops where well thought out.  He made sure to include his viewers, which meant watching the chat screen to answer questions and welcome folks when they entered the room.  Actually if you watch some of his recorded shows you'll see what I mean.

I never really do that much with it.  From time to time I get on-line and just work on something.  I almost always get viewers.  It really helps to schedule when you are going to be on.

I ditto what Shawn says....it takes some time to build but once you get your following they keep coming back.....I am glad to inspire new puppet makers/performers through both my live show and YouTube video.  I have meet many amazing people around the world....but yes consistent shows each week helps build up viewers.  Come and check it out sometime and see what it is all about....I have not been doing much workshops I have covered so much right now......but we still have fun with chatting and talking and meeting new people.
