Small Projects Posted by Abdolos on Jun 14, 2010
It's been a while since i've posted, so here are a couple of little projects that I've worked on. First off, my Sisyphus automaton:
I built this to submit to a gallery art show, and it got accepted. Hooray! A little crank in the back makes Sisyphus continually push his rock up the hill. At the top, the weight becomes too much, and Sisyphus and the rock fall back down to the bottom.
Second, this sexy mermaid:
She's made out of polymer clay, and only took a couple of days to complete. It's way easier to build these things with joints that aren't too controlled. I gave this marionette to a fan as a gift. If you love them, set them free.

Both are really great! Do you have any video of Sisyphus? I am curious to see him in action.

Of course! I guess I should have posted it in the first place.
