Hello everyone!  My name is Patrick and I stumbled upon this website in my search on the internet for things puppet related.

My fiancee and I have been spending a fair amount of time lately making puppets.  We're planning to start a side business making and selling puppets at arts fairs and the like.

I'm a performer and puppet enthusiast.  I just got cast in a puppet show later this year (an improvised puppet musical).  I'm super psyched on making puppets right now.  I've only got a couple under my belt so far, but I'm planning to participate in an arts fair in my neighborhood later this year so I'm working on an inventory and also working on puppets for the show I'll be in later this summer.

Can't wait to share with you guys and learn from you.

Thanks guys!

Pictures it is.

Here's pictures of the first two puppets we made:

The first puppet is named Fuego.  He was our first and thus we made a few mistakes along the way, but he still works well and looks pretty good.  The second one is Toopster, and he was a gift for my nephew who had a underwater themed birthday party.  A turtle seemed like a good fit.

We've still got a ways to go before we're cranking out awesome puppets, but I was surprised with how good the ones we made looked.  Obviously you can see seams and stuff like that, but we'll improve as we keep doing it.  The third and fourth ones are almost done.

We're doing mostly fabric hand puppets though we also have a rod paper mache puppet in the works.
