Thanks Lisa, but God is truly amazing I'm just trying to get better at listening.  It's so much fun.  Who knew that my love of stuffed animals and everything Muppets would someday keep me super busy.  Every time I finish a puppet I just stand back amazed.  Toooooooooo much fun! I think the best thing about this site is that everyone is so encouraging.  It doesn't matter if your just starting with your first sock puppet or building deluxe custom puppets the support gives everyone the courage to keep improving our skills.

The local chapter has been performing this type of program for I think 15 or more years.  Along with the skits they perform they schedule different groups of musicians to perform at the schools to enhance the children's love of music. They have been using them same puppets (sort of folkmanis type) all that time.  It was a privilege to be considered for the job.  I only hope mine serve them as well. I do hope I get some time to work on a larger full body of the Hippo, Lion and I really, really want to make an elephant.  I just love Axtell's Elephant.

Thanks for all the kind comments.
