you still have this member.
Cody, I've seen your Peanut you sent me the pictures of, it's really nice.

Billy, a few months have passed so probably my topic is gone but if it exists somewhere, you may bring it to life again.

Great job Cody!  I like your Peanut replica.  You other guys look great also.  I wish you would have uploaded a bit larger images though. Kind of hard to see the details.

Do you mean sewing around the fingers and such?   It is a hard task.  If you do it on a sewing machine you just have to move slow.  Also at the point in the palm where the fingers join instead of makeing your sew line a V make it a sort of U.  Unfortunately the font does not lend it self well to what I am talking about here. The bottom of the U should be boxed off.  Then you can do a small clip in the fabric to help when turning the fingers right side out.  Is that the part that get messed up?  Do the fingers kind of get bunched up in V area?  The small cut helps because it releases the fabric so it can spread out on the inside.

Ok I did a quick sketch to try and show what I was talking about.  The dotted line is the sew line.  The red V mark is the cut out bit of material to help in turning the hand. Something else I forget to mention before is that I don't cut out the hand fabric first.  I mark my pattern on a piece of fabric with something that well not show like chalk or there are markers that disappear that are in the sewing section. I then sew the hand useing the guide of my drawn patter and then I cut it out.  This makes things a lot easier.

P.S.  Yes that is my hand. This is not a real pattern just an example... that being said... I have used my own hand as a pattern and then reduced the size.

thanks for the compliments advise and scetch Shawn and thanks for the compliments Billy I certaintly won't be quiting anytime soon or hopefully I'll never quit. No matter how much my parents want me to stop making a mess out of my workspace in the garage. I understand what you are saying Shawn and i will certainly do that when i get to the hands as I remake peanut my problem isn't as much in the hands but more in the feet. I have a Hard time keeping the shape of the toes and i have a hard time making the details on not just the hands and feet but everywhere.
