Another little Video I made... Posted by dacostasr on Jun 29, 2010
I made a little video to announce an event for one of my other hobbies.

It is fun playing around with amatuer movie stuff...green screen and all that.  I had fun anyways...enjoy.

I'm still working on my technique...I have a hard time getting him to look at the camera...practice....practice and I'm not very good with voices.  I tried to make him sound old...but I'm just not good at doing different voices.

Thanks for looking.

You'll get better the more you do.   It might help you even on eye focus if you have the puppet closer to the camera so he fills the frame more.  He got a bit lost in things. Good job... love the tip at the first.

You have got the editing down to a science. What software do you use?

THANKS!

Yep I have to practice...I will try moving closer.  He is edited "scaled" down.  I almost considered moving his pupils down a little.

I use Pinnacle 12 with 1 of the add on packages to do the green screen.

Thanks for your KIND words!!

I find it harder to get a puppet to focus on a camera than on other puppets.  Perhaps if you scripted it more as a interview kind of setting it where the puppets are focusing on each other you would find it easier.  Just a thought.

Thanks Jon...I have another puppet in the making.  I could make it like a newsroom...that might work.

Shawn,

I see what you're saying...I watched it again and he is kind of small sitting in the corner. I might reedit  it to see what he looks like bigger.

Thanks,

Dennis
